What data we use and why

Depending on how you use the store, we process your name, email, phone number, Brazilian tax ID (CPF), address, account and order details, and information needed for payment, delivery, pickup, returns and support. We also use data for security, fraud prevention and legal obligations. Marketing messages are optional and depend on your choice.

Payments and saved cards

Payments are processed by Mercado Pago. The full card number, expiration date and security code entered in the card form are sent to the provider, not the store. If you choose to save a card, Mercado Pago keeps the details needed to reuse it; CM stores only a card reference and limited information such as brand, last four digits and expiration date. You can remove saved cards from your account.

Who we share data with

We share only the data needed with payment, shipping and carrier, hosting and email providers for your order or account. If you choose to sign in with Google or Microsoft, we receive basic identity information for authentication, not your password for those services. Some providers may process data outside Brazil, subject to applicable legal requirements.

Browsing and cookies

We use our own cookies and identifiers to keep your cart and account access working. Internal analytics records pages and products viewed, campaign source and general device type to understand use of the store. We do not use fingerprinting or store full IP addresses in these events. You can clear cookies in your browser settings, but that may sign you out or empty your cart.

How long we keep data

Browsing events and sessions are deleted by routine maintenance after 548 days. Abandoned or expired carts are removed after 90 days. Accounts and order histories have no automatic fixed-date deletion: they are retained as needed to maintain the account, fulfill purchases, meet legal duties or defend rights. Deletion requests are assessed against these needs; data without a legitimate reason to keep it should be deleted or anonymized.
